Monitor your SEFCU accounts daily with SEFCU OnLine, Mobile app, and Text Banking in order to spot any unauthorized activity as soon as it occurs. The more frequently you check your account transactions, the faster any discrepancies or fraudulent transactions can be rectified. Contact SEFCU immediately if you notice an unauthorized transaction on your account.

  • Set up email and text message alerts so you are notified if your balance goes below a set amount. To enroll in Text Banking or email alerts, simply log into your SEFCU OnLine account and click on the "Additional Services" tab and then select the "Mobile Banking Alerts" option.
  • Whenever possible, cancel paper bills and account statements and choose to receive electronic statements, like SEFCU eStatements .
  • Review your credit report regularly. Check for any current and previous addresses listed as well as any open accounts reported.
