Common scam resurfaces again

Beware of fraudulent text messages saying they are from [email protected] stating that “suspicious activity” was detected on their card. These messages are followed by a case number. Messages have also been received from Burns & McDonnell Credit Union.

As always, beware of phone calls, suspicious emails, texts or websites that may look or sound legitimate. Should you receive a suspicious text message or other communication regarding your credit or debit card, you can use SEFCU Card Controls to temporarily turn off your card. Then call the Member Solutions Center at 800-727-3328 to speak with a representative.
